Peace and Hospitality

This brand new bed and breakfast is located off a country gravel road.  The driveway follows the fence line of a beautiful meadow, passes through a pecan grove, and emerges in a hidden meadow. The setting inspired the name Hidden Meadows Bed and Breakfast.

Bart and Connie built a home for their retirement, but they also thoughtfully incorporated comfort and convenience for the bed and breakfast guests as Connie personally designed the house‚Äôs floor plan. Hidden Meadows guest suites include: individual thermostats, private bathrooms, closet shelves to hold hanging clothes and suitcases, and ample counter space and storage in the bathrooms.  There is a coffee bar and powder bathroom next to the check-in desk for easy access when arriving.  And for guests that have difficulties with mobility, the entire ground floor and the Prairie Clover Suite are wheelchair accessible.

The Great Room features a cozy couch and chairs next to a 30-foot stone fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, and hardwood floors.  The large, covered Main Deck is just outside the sliding doors that flank the fireplace. The Commons Area upstairs has another comfortable seating area for guests to gather for morning coffee, afternoon snacks, card games, puzzles, or reading.  Bottled water, coffee, and tea are available here anytime as well as a small refrigerator and microwave. You might also choose to enjoy your coffee on the balcony off the Commons. The many outdoor spaces and numerous large windows give guests the opportunity to enjoy the meadow, trees, birds, and wildlife in comfort.

Connie is a master gardener, and the flower beds and grounds are an ongoing project after the initial landscape installation.  She continues to add more and more beautiful flowers.  Every season has its own unique beauty to be enjoyed either by sitting on the decks or hiking the trails around the property.
